Today, at the Facultyof Engineering, Sunday, August 14, 2022, under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Tawakkol, Assistant Professor of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, the activities of the course for children aged 8 to 16 years, took place. The session’s main aim was to identify, and provide a simplified explanation, in addition to conducting manual experiments on the basics of architecture and electronic circuits .
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty held a legendary festive carnival for the graduation of the 2022 batch of Bachelor and Postgraduate studies on Monday, August 8, 2022, on one of the Olympic Village stadiums, amid feelings of joy and happy faces.
This joyous ceremony was held at the initiative, sponsorship and support of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, and with the participation of the Faculty’s Vice Deans: Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahdi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Sherif Masoud, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. Organized by: Dr. Fatima Al-Arian, director of alumni follow-up unit, Dr. Mohamed Sabry, the university president’s advisor for student activities, Dr. Nasser Al-Badawihi, director general of the faculty, and Mr. Ahmed Abu Al-Khair, director of student care.
This was in the presence of a number of academic leaders in the faculty, staff members, a number of members of Parliament, and Engineer Ibrahim Hassanein, head of the Syndicate of Engineers in Dakahlia, who delivered a speech during the ceremony welcoming and congratulating the newly graduated engineers.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Azim mentioned in his speech that he always works for the sake of his students, as he is motivated to implement the achievements, establishments and development in the Faculty of Engineering. He extended his deep thanks and gratitude to the students’ parents and guardians.

Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University Offers Sincere Condolences and Deep Sorrow for both the families of Abu Seifen Church Victims and the whole Country
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, on behalf of the faculty’s vice-deans and all staff members expresses deep sorrow for what happened in Imbaba Church accident. His Excellency also extends his sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic accident, His Holiness Pope Tawadros and all Coptic staff in the faculty of Engineering. Sincere condolences to the families grieving the immeasurable loss they suffered. In such moments the words would be superfluous, we hope paradise will be their own dwell by Allah’s mercy, wishing a speed recovery to all those injured in the accident.

Today, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, and implementation of Ass. Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawakkol, Associate Professor of Electronics and Communications.
Prof. Dr. Mona Al-Wazir, professor in the Department of Architecture and a team of specialists, explained a course on the basics of architecture for children aged 8 -16 years, children were trained to conduct experiments and implement manually, during the activities of the course.

Activities of explaining the children’s course, Faculty of Engineering took place at workspace, targeting age group 8 years old to 16 years old.
They were provided with a simplified explanation and definition of renewable energy in the first session. In the second session, they learnt general principles of architecture.
Professor Dr. Abeer Tawakkol, Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, mentor of the course, praised both the teamwork explaining renewable energy, namely: Eng. Nada Abdel Moneim, Eng. Muhammad Yasser, and the team explaining; art of architecture, namely: Eng. Muhammad Ibrahim, Eng. Muhammad Al - Sayyid, Eng. Karim Mustafa, and Eng. Basmala Tariq.

Today, Sunday, July 31, 2022, the Faculty of Engineering organized a ceremony for the largest number of openings that have taken place in the faculty since its establishment in 1957 until now. This was under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Baset - Mansoura University President, leadership and initiative of Prof.Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - dean of the faculty of engineering, effective participation of Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahdi - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy - Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.
A group of university deputies, faculty deans, members of the Parliament and chairmen of the board of directors of companies attended.
Indeed, it is a marvelous day with great inauguration of a huge number of projects, a day marked by the greatness of the values of seriousness, excellence and sincerity, a day that proves the love of the great entity, a day which proves that it is not impossible with the presence of a strong will and possession of mechanisms and how to maximize their use, the day that its harvest needs an analysis on how to combine the conscious, accomplished national management with leading a harmonious productive work team, one day in the record of the successive luminous achievements of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty.
It is worth noting that today (19) projects were inaugurated:
1. The Internet of Things lab.
2. A wireless communications network laboratory.
3. A space innovation lab
4. Building systems information lab BIM-LAB.
5. Architectural models lab construction.
6. Building halls complex: two halls with a capacity of 100 students for each hall, with an extension to an evaluation hall.
7. Transport and traffic lab.
8. Heavy facilities plant.
9. Integrated optics laboratory.
10. Dynamic vibration laboratory.
11. The microscopic examination lab.
12. The road and airport lab.
13. The administrative headquarters for postgraduate studies, the magazine and cultural relations.
14. The administrative headquarters for legal affairs.
15. The solar energy plant with an attached administrative and educational headquarters.
16. Official photoession headquarters.
17. Water quality control laboratory.
18. Architectural arts lab.
19. Development and modernization of the survey laboratory.
In line with the foregoing and in continuity with the great celebrations witnessed today, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, held a meeting with members of the administrative body in Professor Dr. Magdy Abu Rayan Conference Hall at exactly, 01:30 p.m., to celebrate the occasion of the accreditation of the faculty’s programs, where His Excellency granted certificates of appreciation to all members of the teaching staff, the supporting staff and members of the administrative staff, in appreciation and celebration for both the effort expended in accrediting the faculty’s programs and the achievements of the faculty.
