Under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Cairo International Technology Conference and Exhibition, Cairo ICT, will be held from November 27 to November 30, 2022. It is noteworthy that the conference has been held since 1996 and has had the honor of sponsoring His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi over the past seven years. It is considered one of the most prominent technology forums in the Middle East and Africa since its launch.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will participate in this event with the aim of presenting the applied and industrial outputs and achievements of higher education and scientific research institutions to the community working in the field of information and communication technology and investors, holding a number of specialized seminars, implementing a number of activities related to university students and developers among them.

Kindly remember to submit research proposals on energy and climate change to obtain funding for research projects funded by USAID through the Energy Excellence Agreement, amounting to $4 million distributed over 15 research projects. Knowing that the opportunity is available only to the universities participating in the agreement, which are: (Ain Shams University, Mansoura University and Aswan University), therefore the chance of acceptance is great, God willing.

CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR ENERGY RESEARCH PROGRAM HANDBOOK.
Through an energy excellence agreement between Egyptian universities (Ain Shams - Mansoura - Aswan) and the University of Arizona, the United States of America, the "My Home is an Agricultural Producer”, project was selected, which was supervised by Associate Prof. Dr. Mona Al-Wazir, Director of the Sustainable Architecture Program. The faculty sent two students representing it; Student/ Abdul Rahman Reda Ali (Architecture Department) and Student/ Haitham Sameh Fayoud (Energy Program), to present the project at the COP27 Climate Conference.

On Tuesday,15/11/2022, the Strategic Future Unit held a training course for members of the faculty’s administrative team, entitled “Time Management and Dealing with Work Pressures,” as part of the initiative to develop the capabilities of the administrative staff (Mansoura Engineering 2030).
Dr. Amira Kamal Ahmed Abdel Hamid Jaafar, lecturer of business administration, Faculty of Commerce, Mansoura University, gave a highly informative, impressive lecture. The training of the administrative staff runs under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawakul Khalil, Head of the Training Committee of the Strategic Future Unit. The training course aims to provide members of the administrative staff with the skills of how to manage time and deal with work pressures, how to solve problems and overcome difficulties in an innovative, creative and distinct way, in light of the sustainable development plan in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030, which aims to form an efficient and effective administrative staff that applies the concepts of governance and digital transformation.

The Faculty Council No. (574) was held on Monday, November 14, 2022, at exactly ten o’clock in the morning in the conference hall of Prof. Dr. / Al-Saeed Ashour, with the application of precautionary reserves, Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the Faculty, chaired the meeting, in the presence of, the Vice-Deans, heads of scientific departments, managers of specific programs and representatives of some institutions of the external community.

Then, he moved to discuss the topics on the agenda to take decisions on them with the distinguished members of the Faculty Council members.

It is under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the invitation sent to his honor regarding the approval of the visit of a scientific trip for first-year secondary students, Sharqia Stem School, to the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University with the aim of supporting students in their research project which is “Construction of a Pedestrian Tunnel”, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, this visit took place on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
These successive visits come within the framework of the fact that the Faculty of Engineering has become a distinct educational and research entity to which attention is drawn. The approval of these visits gives an indication of the faculty’s interest in the societal role, in addition to the faculty’s contribution to adopting the ingenuity of students from among the community in line with the state’s vision to achieve comprehensive development 2030.
It is worth noting that Pro. Dr. Ahmed Tahawiya, a professor in the Department of Structural Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Murtaja, a lecturer in the Department of Structural Engineering, and Dr. Muhammad Ragab, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, provided the necessary explanation and clarification for the students on how to set up a pedestrian tunnel, the door for discussion with the students was opened. The program of the visit ended at about one o'clock in the afternoon.

Foreseeing the future of education, facing the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, the global risks and crises of war disasters, the ensuing climate crises in the field of education and social protection, and even all areas of children’s rights, according to a vision based on transforming these crises into real opportunities for development and change towards a more development and sustainable future. The researcher can address one or more of the award’s axes, based on the perspective of comprehensiveness and integration of the various axes.

In light of the vision and mission of the faculty, which seeks to graduate a distinguished engineer who is able to compete in the labor market, and its interest in spreading the culture of entrepreneurship to transform student projects and their ideas into distinct start-up companies that contribute to advancing the wheel of construction and development, the distinguished program managers and their deputies, teaching staff and members of the supporting staff, as well as students registered for graduation projects, were invited to attend an introductory meeting on the services provided by the Student Projects Unit on Tuesday, 15/11/2022, in Prof.Dr. Majdi Abu Rayan amphitheater.
The meeting began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Salah Mostafa - General Coordinator of Specific Programs, welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the keenness of the faculty administration to harness all capabilities for final-year students to complete their projects in an honorable manner.
Then, the services provided by the Student Projects Unit were reviewed through a presentation by Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Hassan Tawfiq - Director of the Unit. The presentation dealt with the most important services that enable the student to follow up on the various opportunities available around him for financing, whether through introducing the various incubators, business accelerators and donors, or through various competitions, and explaining how to access them. The presentation also dealt with an explanation of how to access and deal with project writing templates, as well as the financial and non-financial services provided by the unit to the teams registered in it. Furthermore, the presentation dealt with an explanation of the unit's registration mechanism and frequently asked questions for students.
After that, the meeting was concluded with a speech by Prof. Dr. Sahar Sidqi Kaddah - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, which dealt with encouraging students to prepare to participate in the faculty's annual exhibition of projects and to complete filling out project summaries forms in preparation for preparing the faculty’s project booklet.
