he UPVC team- Faculty of Engineering- Mansours University, won first place at the level of Egypt with a prize of 100,000 pounds in the Innovation Catalyst 2022 Competition, affiliated to the Innovators Support Fund at the Academy of Scientific Research.

Under auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, the activities of the first day of student training began today, Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Huawei Academy, the branch of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, in order to support and train a number of talented faculty students who had previously expressed their desire to train at Huawei Academy on Information and communications technology, to provide them with training opportunities on the technical side, skills, capacity development in addition to developing the positive personal traits, which help in connecting and joining major global industrial institutions.
On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawakkol, Assistant Professor of Electronics and Communications and Director of Hawaii Academy at the Faculty of Engineering, confirmed in her speech to the students and trainers, that she strongly supports the Faculty of Engineering, its students and the Egyptian State Program for Digitization and Information Technology to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision. Dr. Abeer confirmed that, she is working continuously to prepare a generation specialized in modern technologies through cooperation with successful international companies in order to become a major party participating with full force in the industrial revolution of the world that we are living in now.

Proceeding from the faculty administration’s belief in the importance of the role of entrepreneurship in creating non-traditional job opportunities by exploiting the available resources that support the Egyptian economy, the Student Projects Unit at the faculty is pleased to announce opening the door for admission to the “Capital” incubator, which aims to help entrepreneurs, those who have an idea or innovation in one of the technological fields to establish a start-up company.
It is worth noting that the incubator is considered one of the factors supporting economic development programs to increase the success rate of start-up companies, thus creating job opportunities that have a return on the local economy, marketing technologies, meeting the needs of new companies, and providing real innovative value to the consumer.
The role of the incubator is to
- provide a place to run the company and help with the basics of entrepreneurship.
-Finance up to 200,000 Egyptian pounds, in addition to technical, manufacturing and administrative consultations.
-Provide marketing assistance and support in market research and branding.
-Provide logistical services from (work offices - communications - administrative and financial works).
-Organize comprehensive training programs in the field of entrepreneurship.
Incubator areas of work:
The incubator works in all areas of the institutes and departments of the National Research Center and includes, for example, the following:
1- Chemical industries
2- Food industries
3- Pharmaceutical industries
4- Fields of Agriculture
5- Textile industries
6- Deepening the local product
7- Veterinary field
8- The field of biotechnology
Terms of submission:
⁃ Having an innovative idea or a prototype to solve a problem in the aforementioned areas.
⁃ The presence of a work team consisting of 2 to 5 people (inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs or recent graduates).
⁃ The project should be technological in nature, applicable and serve national challenges (Egypt 2030 Plan).
⁃ Three years have not passed since the establishment of the company (if there is a company) when the advertisement was published.
⁃ The idea of the project has never been incubated in one of the incubators

Today, Thursday, September 22, 2022, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, honored the students of Mn Agl Misr Team for their effective role , positive participation and fruitful voluntary cooperation throughout the academic year 2021/2022 in Prof. Dr. Magdy Abo Rayan amphitheater. This was done in the presence and participation of Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, advisor to the president of the university for student activities, Captain Ahmed Abu Al-Khair, the faculty’s coordinator for student activities.
The Faculty Council No. (572) was held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at exactly ten o’clock in the morning in the conference hall of Prof. Dr. / Al-Saeed Ashour, with the application of precautionary reserves, where the council was chaired by Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Abdel Azim- Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of the gentlemen: Vice Deans, Heads of departments, directors of specific programs and representatives of some institutions of the external community.
The session was opened by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty where, His Excellency:
⁃ Welcomed the attendees.
⁃ Offered words of condolences on the death of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Awadi, lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Engineering Physics, the death of the brother of Mr. Ashraf Abdel-Zaher, Head of Public Affairs, and the death of Mrs. Iman Al-Nadi’s husband.
⁃ Welcomed the new members of the Faculty Council at the beginning of its current session, wishing them all success.
⁃ Congratulated the promotions of the faculty members, namely: Prof. Dr. Abdel Hadi Ghanem - Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He also presented words of support and motivation to Prof. Ehab Hany - Coordinator of Mansoura National University Programs.
⁃ Praised the winners of the climate change competition.
⁃ Congratulated the teams that qualified for the final rounds of the EJUST competition.
⁃ Extended his congratulations and wishes for continued success to the members of the scientific committees for the posts of professors and assistant professors for the 14th session, namely, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Mawafi, Prof. Adel Al-Masry, Prof. Akram Al-Metwally, Prof. Ibrahim Al-Qalla and Prof. Sherif Kishk.
⁃ Referred to what was done in the ceremony honoring students who obtained Thanaweya Amma.
⁃ Praised the Faculty’s Higher Graduate Studies Harvest Day.
⁃ Referred to what has been done and what should be followed towards receiving new students.
⁃ Spoke about the faculty’s position on the quality file and what should be implemented in this regard.
⁃ Praised the celebration of the children's training course for the children of faculty members and faculty employees.
⁃ Mentioned the graduation ceremony of class 2022, of the Faculty of Engineering.
⁃ Referred to dividing the preparatory year into branches and what should be followed in this regard.
⁃ Spoke about the summer training for students of the main stream and programs.
⁃ Put forward a proposal to establish an information office at the faculty, the Technological Developers Club, and the Entrepreneurship Club.
⁃ Reassured the honorable members of the Faculty Council about preparing the place for displaying student projects, the new headquarters of the Central Library, in the student building.
⁃ Briefed the attendees about the establishment of the Student Conference.
⁃ Presented the history of managing quality programs and units of special nature in the faculty since their inception until now.
Then, His Excellency moved to discuss the topics on the agenda and take decisions on them with the honorable members of the Faculty Council.

Electronic Tests of applicants for vacant positions at Mansoura National University took place today, Monday, September 26, 2022, at the electronic testing center, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University.
This was done in the presence of full readiness in terms of the number of devices and the follow-up of a team consisting of faculty members, engineers, technicians and observers.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, invited all janitors of the Faculty to have breakfast with His Excellency in the faculty cafeteria, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at nine thirty in the morning, in order to appreciate and thank them for their effort in the Faculty, and in continuation to implement the policy of the Faculty Dean, which aims to inculcate morals in dealing with all segments of the faculty, so that the Faculty of Engineering can continue to work in an integrated team spirit as it is now.
Under the Deanship of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, whoever works or exerts distinguished effort will be appreciated and rewarded, In implementation of this and under the auspices of his Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Sabry, the university president’s advisor for student activities, honored the students who offered their colleagues help by facilitating and presenting some services as : introducing them to the study schedules and writing down explanations of lectures for those who were unable to attend them.
Under auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Dr. Abeer Tawakul, Associate Professor of Electronics and Communications and Director of the Huawei Academy at the Faculty of Engineering, the activities of the second day began today, Monday, September 26, 2022, to train a number of faculty students on Huawei Academy program, where a programming explanation was provided for students to learn about the latest technologies and pioneering communications, making it easier for students to integrate into the labor market later as a result of their refinement and acquisition of the latest scientific findings and the industrial labor market.

Under auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, we are pleased to announce that both the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University and Mansoura Motorsport team are hosting Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Automotive Engineering professor at Ain Shams University, to explain a lecture to Mansoura University students entitled "Introduction to vehicle dynamics".
