The Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University hosted a student delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq on Sunday, August 17, 2025. The visit took place at the office of Prof. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, and was attended by Prof. Amira Yasen Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The visit was coordinated and organized by Dr. Mahmoud Saad, Director of the Center for Technical, Laboratory, and Scientific Services, who accompanied the delegation and gave a detailed presentation about the faculty’s capabilities and its academic and research activities.
This visit comes as part of the student exchange program and efforts to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between Arab universities. During the visit, the delegation toured several faculty laboratories and notable facilities unique to the Faculty of Engineering. They also learned about the academic departments and specific programs offered by the faculty that meet the needs of the external community.
This visit reflects Mansoura University and the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation and consolidating scientific and cultural relations with sister Arab universities. It contributes to the exchange of expertise, supports students academically and culturally, and opens new horizons for joint cooperation between Mansoura University and Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq.
