Today, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, a symposium was held at the Faculty of Engineering under the title:“Reproductive Health and Population Concepts” in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sherif Al-Badawi, interim dean of the faculty, and Dr. Amina Al-Nimr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amira Yassen, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Enas Sabry and Dr. Sajida Magdy provided a lecture clarifying a number of topics, the most important of which are: problems resulting from early marriage of girls, health problems resulting from endogamy marriage, the impact of the family milieu on the mental health of children, and manifestations of violence against women such as physical violence, psychological violence, financial violence, and electronic violence, in addition to problems resulting from female circumcision.
