The President of Mansoura University; Prof. Mohamed El-Kenawy visited the Faculty of Engineering on Tuesday, 2 May 2017 to acknowledge the development and renewal of the faculty of engineering labs and be familiarized with the strategic plan and future development of the educational service at the faculty of engineering. He was hosted by Prof. Mohamed El-Said, Dean of the faculty, Prof. Hisham Arafat, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Maher Abdel Razzaq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Prof. Sobhy Abdelkader, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The purpose of this visit was to pursue development of educational process. Prof. Mohamed El-Said, Faculty Dean, talked about renovating the infrastructure of some faculty labs, such as the Chemistry lab, Lecture Hall 11, Computer & Systems Department labs and others. He added that there are work in progress for developing other labs and a strategic plan for the development of the remainder of the faculty labs. This is completed through the Faculty of Engineering own funding which the faculty work ruthlessly to maximize the benefit from the current fund and find sources for generating finance. 

At the end of the visit the President of the University congratulated Prof. Salah Oubaya, professor at the Electronic and Communication Department for winning Khalifa award for the distinguished professor from United Arab Emerates. At the end of the visit, the University President passed by the labs of Electronic and Engineering Department to stand on the development and modernization. He thanked the faculty members for the effort. The visit ended around 12:00 noon.

Dr. Mohamed Gouda received a shield from WIPO for the best young inventor at the 3rd Cairo International Innovation Exhibition.

Dr. Mohammed Gouda said that EGPO at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology handed him the shield last week, stating that he received an award for his PhD thesis 'Climbing Robot for industrial ships Inspection'.

•  A copy of the national number
• Model 2 military for boys
• The military id for the students who are born in 1997and its previous years
• (8) late personal photos

Based on the decision of AIGAC , accreditation was granted to the Road and Airport Engineering Laboratory of the faculty in some mechanical tests of soil and paving materials.

Based on the directions of Prof. Ashraf Mohamed Swailem, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty staff should adopt plagiarism report issued by Mansoura University or the Digital Library of the Supreme Council of Universities. It is the only accepted form by Permanent Scientific Committee.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering met with the faculty administrative staff, in the presence of Mrs. Madiha Ismail, General Manager of Faculty, at 11:00 AM in the hall of Prof. Rashad Badrawi on Wednesday 10 May 2017.

First, he welcomed all attendees, and then gave a speech about Prof. Maher Abdul Razzak, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, who died on Saturday 6 May 2017.

He discussed several topics related to the administrative system, such as self-monitoring of the performance of their work to achieve the desired objectives, discipline and responsibility during the period of exams, the principle of reward and punishment, overcoming bureaucracy, restructuring the administrative system according to job descriptions, and fulfilling the employees training needs.

He also spoke about his interest in the Faculty infrastructure.

Finally, he listened to the members of the administrative body, discussed some of their problems, and promised to find immediate solutions.
The meeting concluded at 12 noon.

The faculty of Engineering family mourns with sadness and sorrow Prof. Maher Mohamed Abdel Razzak, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Based on the principle of enforcing collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering, local, and international universities in different academic and research areas, the vice dean for postgraduate studies and research Prof. Sobhy Mohamed AbdelKader hosted a delegation from the Electrical Engineering at the University of Tanta represented by:

 Under the sponsorship of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Elsaed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University on Wednesday, 19/4/2017 at 11:00 AM.

The delegation accompanied by Prof. Sobhy Mohamed AbdelKader visited the managerial building, some labs including the Solar Energy Lab. The services and activities provided by these labs were presented to the delegation including the state of the art devices in the labs.
The visit included attending an orientation session on "Electrical Engineering Department of Tanta University, Research Specialties and Possible Co-operation Areas between the two faculties presented.
