As part of the plan to develop and enhance the services provided by the Technical, Laboratory and Scientific Services Center to its clients, the technical committee formed by Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Saad, Director of the Center, travelled to Nuweiba City in South Sinai Governorate on Thursday, 4 December 2025. The visit aimed to inspect and test the thermal engine at TIME Coral Nuweiba Resort in order to assess its safe and efficient operation, following a request submitted by the hotel management.
The technical committee assigned to carry out the required tests consisted of Prof. Eid Abdel Baki Gouda and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Salam Abdel Aty. The inspection and testing procedures were conducted in the presence of the hotel’s maintenance representatives: Eng. Mohamed Salah Farahat and Eng. Ayman Mohamed El-Azab.

This visit falls within the framework of the Center’s strategy to strengthen effective links between the university and the wider community and to contribute to providing appropriate Egyptian technology. It does so by utilising the technical, laboratory and scientific capabilities and expertise available at the Faculty to respond to the current and future engineering needs of both the University and society.
