Strengthening Academic Ties: McMaster University’s Visit to Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University Enhances Scholarship and Research Collaboration
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, and McMaster University—represented by the McMaster Institute for Transportation and Logistics (MITL) in Canada—regarding the dispatch of students from the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University to study at McMaster University on full scholarships, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Sherif Massoud El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and coordinated by Dr. Osama Al-Rawy Shahda, Assoc. Prof. in the Department of Public Works Engineering and Coordinator of the Agreement,
Dr. Moataz Mohamed, representative of McMaster University in Canada, Assoc. Prof. in the Department of Civil Engineering, and Director of the McMaster Institute for Transportation and Logistics (MITL), delivered two lectures at the Dr. Rashad El-Badrawi Lecture Hall in the Faculty of Engineering at the conclusion of his visit to Mansoura University.
The first lecture was entitled “The PhD Journey at McMaster University: From the First Conversation to the Final Defense,” and the second was entitled “The Relationship between Energy, Mobility, and the Environment: Reflections on a Decade of Applied Research.”
