On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Prof. Dr. Al-Saeed Ashour Conference Hall, Faculty of Engineering witnessed holding a scientific, athletic and cultural forum sponsored by Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedqi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, to honor the winners and their work teams in Huawei Academy, the Haxon Competition, the winning students’ projects supported by the Academy of Scientific Research, the students who won athletic awards, the students who received school students, in the presence of distinguished faculty members and students in various activities.
Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy added that winning the students’ projects is a very rich and useful experience that need to be repeated on a larger scale and in a larger number, and that honoring them today is to appreciate the scientific and research efforts that have been made. The faculty will always encourage and support this for the sake of its students and the university so as to contribute to the development of external community projects and institutions.
Prof. Sherif has also mentioned the students who won athletic awards, saying that the faculty supports and motivates students to continue extracurricular activities, hoping to achieve more awards.
Prof. Dr. Sahar praised students for the great efforts they exerted whether in research projects or in extracurricular activities, offering all thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to this.
Then the honoring ceremony began, where the winners felt appreciated and motivated to continue their efforts. The honoring ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates of honor.
