Report on Faculty Council Meeting No. (615) – Monday, April 20, 2026
Meeting No. (615) convened on April 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Faculty Council room, chaired by Prof. Sherif Massoud El-Badawy, Dean. Attendees included Vice Deans, Department Heads, Specific Program Directors, and external company representatives.
Held ahead of the Fourth Employment Forum, the session focused on operational updates, quality enhancement in education/research/community service, and institutional efficiency.
The Dean opened by:
- Welcoming attendees and urging greater effort for top results.
- Congratulating Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim on his appointment as President of Mansoura National University.
- Noting promotions: Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghannam to Professor of Excellence (Engineering Studies Committee); Associate. Prof. Asmaa Hamdy to Professor of Excellence (Computer Engineering & Control).
- Congratulating Prof. Ahmed Abdel Salam as new Head of Mechanical Power Engineering; thanking outgoing Head Prof. Mohamed Hassan Mansour.
