Mansoura University's Faculty of Engineering team from the Huawei Academy Qualifies for the Regional Stage of the Huawei ICT Competition 2026.
The Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University continues to solidify its academic standing with another achievement in one of the world's top international competitions focused on information and communications technology: the Huawei ICT Competition 2026. A team from the college's Huawei Academy has advanced to the Regional Stage, alongside securing top national rankings across Egypt.
The qualification came in the Cloud Track, representing the Arab Republic of Egypt in North Africa. The team from the Faculty of Engineering's Huawei Academy includes:
- Mohamed Salah – Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program (LVL400)
- Karim Jamal El-Sayed – Communications and Electronics Engineering Department (3rd Year)
Students from the faculty also shone nationally, earning two bronze medals in the same track. Shahd Mohamed Abdel Aziz took home a bronze medal, as did Ahmed El-Shabouri—clear proof of our students' excellence in both theory and practice.
This success directly reflects the faculty's commitment to supporting students through advanced programs, effective international partnerships, and especially the Huawei Academy. It provides a comprehensive learning environment that blends theory with hands-on application, aligned with global standards in cloud computing, networking, and cutting-edge technologies.
The faculty reaffirms its strategy to foster innovation and digital skills, preparing students to compete regionally and internationally while linking education to workforce needs and digital transformation demands.
Heartfelt congratulations to our students for this outstanding performance, with best wishes for further progress and success in the upcoming regional stage.
