In continuation of its commitment to effective communication with students, the Faculty of Engineering – Mansoura University – held an open meeting with students from all academic departments. The session was led by Prof. Sherif Massoud El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Hassan Mansour, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Student Activities Coordinator; Dr. Abdel Khaleq El-Adl, Director of the Technical Workshops Unit; and Capt. Ahmed Abou El-Kheir, Director of Student Support Unit. The meeting took place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Prof. Dr. Rashad El-Badrawy Hall.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the attendees, expressing his pride in the students and his constant support for creating a distinctive educational environment that enhances their academic and personal skills. He emphasized the importance of regular attendance and active participation in lectures, exercises, and laboratory sessions. He also encouraged students to participate in various extracurricular activities—sports, cultural, and artistic—highlighting their vital role in developing well-rounded personalities. In addition, he urged students to take part in student competitions aimed at promoting positive and constructive competitiveness.

The meeting concluded with an open discussion, during which students were invited to raise their questions and share their observations. The Dean and Vice Deans responded to all inquiries and provided further clarifications.
