The Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University hosted a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The delegation was led by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University and accompanied by Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The delegation was received by Prof. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, with the presence and participation of Prof. Amira Yassen Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Mahmoud Saad, Director of the Center for Technical, Laboratory, and Scientific Services, coordinated and organized the visit.
This visit reflects the commitment of Arab universities to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation. During the visit, the delegation toured several faculty laboratories and specialized centers, including the Heavy Structures Lab. They listened to an explanation from the Dean about the role of these laboratories in serving education, scientific research, and the community. The delegation also learned about the academic departments and specific programs offered by the faculty to its students.
This visit highlights Mansoura University’s dedication to building bridges of cooperation and strengthening scientific and cultural relations with sister Arab universities, contributing to the exchange of expertise, and supporting students academically and culturally, while opening new horizons for joint cooperation between Mansoura University and Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq.
