The visit of the Chinese delegation from Shenyang Jianzhu University, China, took place on December 12, 2024, at Mansoura University. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, discussions were held to enhance collaboration between the two universities. The delegation engaged in various activities aimed at strengthening academic ties and exploring future cooperative opportunities.
The delegation visited the Faculty of Engineering, where Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy, the Dean, welcomed Prof. Yan Wenfu, President of the Chinese University. The meeting also included Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research. From the Chinese side, attendees included Prof. Hong Sun, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Chen Zhili, Vice President for Development and Planning; Prof. Xian Ning, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design; and Prof. Wang Xing, Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation.
From the Egyptian side, Prof. Dr. Marwa Hassan, Director of the International Relations Office, Prof. Dr. Yousra El-Far, Dr. Ahmed Hussein, and Dr. Shady Awny, Deputy Directors of the International Relations Office, and Dr. Ohoud Ali Rashwan, Lecturer of Chinese Language at the Faculty of Arts, attended.
The delegation toured the Faculty of Engineering. They inspected various laboratories, including the architectural models lab and solar energy lab, expressing appreciation for the facilities’ readiness and quality.
