A Report on: Children’s Course “ Basics of Smart Robots” Held at the Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering held a children’s course for a number of children of faculty members, the administrative staff, and members of the external community in the period from 1/27 to 2/7 - 2024, within the framework of providing community service to the faculty ’s internal community and to the external community. The children’s course was held in its fourth season, at the initiative and supervision of A. P. Dr. Abeer Tawakkol, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Program, and with the assistance of a working team of specialized engineers at the faculty providing the basics of smart robots for children in an easy, interesting and attractive way in order to instill the building block of creative thinking within children, and practical training through understanding and application by dismantling, assembling, and connecting circuits together, and also implementing this through the participation of a number of children together as groups in order to gain a culture of individual work within a work team.
The children's course ended amidst a warm welcome from the children, their families, and the engineers who conducted the training. It is worth noting and thanking them, namely:
