A Report on the Visit of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering Program Students to The Solar Show MENA 2023 Event

Tuesday, 9/5/2023, witnessed a special day for the students of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering Program, where the students of the program participated in The solar show MENA event.
It is worth noting that what enriched the students' scientific trip to the exhibition was their meeting with both: Prof. Dr. Ghada Amer - Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Misr University for Science and Technology, and Dr. Walid Al-Khatam - Professor in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering, Ain Shams University, they provided them important information about energy, the sun and its future in Egypt and the world.
The students of the program visited representatives of companies specialized in the field of solar energy and the production, development and maintenance of parts for solar systems, such as Huawei, Dar Al Hadassah, Das Solar, Jinko Solar Sub, and many companies and bodies specialized in this field. Two students of the program participated in the event.
• The student / Mennat Allah Ayman Muhammad in the 200th level of the program and the student / Veronia Naji in the 100th level of the program as speakers on the event, where each of them presented a special session for the event.
The student / Mennat Allah Ayman Muhammad presented a session entitled:
“The Future of Solar PV In Mena: Considering Investment, Tech, Grid Integration and Socio-Economic Aspects”.
The student / Veronia Nagy presented a session entitled:
“Powering the Best Possible Generation: Utilizing Remote Monitoring to Optimize Operations and Maintenance of Solar”.
This was in the presence of a large number of specialists from all over the world in the field of renewable energy
