A Workshop Entitled "Financial and Non-Financial Services Provided by the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Agency" Organized by the Student Enterprises Unit

The Student Projects Unit organized a workshop entitled "Financial and Non-Financial Services Provided by  the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Agency ",  on Monday,  13/12/2021 at Prof. Dr. Rashad Al-Badrawy Room. 

Both  Eng. Ahmed Ibrahim, the non-financial services officer, and Mr. Al-Metwally Bedir ,  the financial services officer at the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Agency in Dakahlia Governorate  provided the attendees  with important information about the agency.   Eng. Ahmed Ibrahim explained the various means of non-financial support provided by the agency to startup companies, whether in the stage of idea formation or in the stages of administrative procedures and facilities for obtaining the necessary licenses to conduct activities through the "one-stop shop" system.  He also talked about  information services and integration among projects funded by  the agency that save the time and effort needed to find suppliers and partners.   He has also explained  the concept of business incubators and what is meant by this service provided by the agency.  Mr. Al-Metwally Bedeir, on the other hand, explained how to benefit from the financial services provided by the agency to emerging companies, which include soft loans with simple decreasing interest, as well as payment facilities and the value of loans that may reach ten million pounds. He reviewed a number of successful and inspiring experiences of a number of successful models of entrepreneurs who were funded by the agency's office in Dakahlia Governorate to be a guiding beacon for the promising students of the college.
