About Structural Department

The Department of Structural Engineering (SE Department) is one of the biggest departments in the college of engineering at Mansoura University since it has the largest number of faculty members and the highest enrollment of undergraduate students. The objective of SE Department is to graduate high quality structural engineers with the capacity to deal with design and construction challenges of infrastructures, civil projects and related technology. The SE Department provides specialties in Reinforced concrete, Soil and foundations, Steel structures, Properties and strength of engineering materials and management of construction projects.

In order to provide the desired quality of engineering education, the SE Department has prepared a number of well-equipped educational labs for Reinforced concrete, Soil and foundations, Properties of engineering materials, Heavy steel structures, Centrifuge simulation testing, and Computer applications.
