The UNESCO-Alfozan International Prize is accepting nominations to honor young scientists in STEM fields who contribute to global progress and promote gender equality. The Prize, awarded biennially to five laureates
from UNESCO’s regions, includes a cash award of $50,000, a medal, and a diploma. Candidates must be under 40 years old by the application deadline of April 15, 2025. Nominations are encouraged for young women scientists to inspire greater participation in STEM careers. Applications can be submitted online starting September 15, 2024
