Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, with pride and joy extends his heartfelt congratulations to our outstanding faculty teams for winning the first and second places at the republic level in Benha University Innovation Marathon, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Applying for the competition was under the supervision of: Assoc. Prof. Mahmoud Saafan, Department of Computer Engineering and Control Systems and vice president of Intilaq Company, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saleh, Director of the Computer and Communications Engineering Program, and Eng. Hager Hamdy, with the participation of a number of faculty students from various departments and programs.
The VerTechX team won first place, Artificial Intelligence category, to increase agricultural productivity.
Team members are: Mohamed Khaled Anis, Mahmoud Ibrahim Abdel Aziz, Abdel Rahman Ahmed Shafiq, Yahya Mohamed El-Ajami, Mohanad Tawfiq, Mohamed Rizk, Omar Soleiman, Ziad Osama, Youssef Taher, Mohamed El-Ganaini, and Karim Ashraf.
The Touch Vision team won second place in Atificial Intelligence Category, in education.
The team includes: Ahmed Ibrahim Mohamed, Adham Mohamed Abu El-Ezz, Ahmed Magdy El-Damhogi, Youssef Ahmed El-Ghammaz, Fatima Sobhi Nour El-Din, Hanin Hani, and Yasmine Ashraf.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Engineering administration encourages research and supports innovations, especially those that contribute to achieving increased productivity and raising the level of the Egyptian economy, creating an educational environment that is hoped to be achieved on the ground, and translating our ambitions into a reality that we live.
