Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, received today, Thursday, May 30, 2024, a delegation from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, headed by Prof. Dr. Sameh Nada, Vice President of the Egypt- Japan University for Academic Affairs and Education, within the framework of discussing ways of cooperation and partnership between the two universities.
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

The delegation included Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yahya Ebeid, Dean of the Faculty of International Business and Humanities at the Egypt-Japan University, the visit coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ramzy, Director of Art and Design Programs, and the TV presenter Mustafa El-Menshawy, Consultant of Media Affairs and Institutional Communications at the University.

The visit comes within the framework of Mansoura University's orientation to establish partnerships with a number of scientific and research universities similar to the university in their specializations, during the visit, discussions were held on various methods and means of cooperation in the short term, especially in the field of engineering, arts and design programs.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater stressed that the meeting comes within the framework of implementing the directives of the political leadership, to maximize the benefit from the available capabilities, and activate means of joint cooperation among universities.

After that, Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy accompanied the visiting delegation to the meeting hall at the Faculty of Engineering, in the presence and participation of Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amira Yassin Haikal, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The seminar was organized by Dr. Mustafa El-Bahlol, Director of the Scientific Research Unit at the Faculty, where an expanded seminar was held, it witnessed the attendance of a large number of deans and vice deans of faculties, faculty members and assisting staff.
This visit comes within the framework of expanding the circle of partnerships and cooperation between Mansoura University and distinguished scientific and research universities working on technological cooperation between the two universities and permanent scientific and research participation between them by students and faculty members, and practicing the effective role of the Faculty of Engineering in fulfilling the implementation of this agreement. During the seminar, the Japanese university’s equipment, laboratories, and electronic systems that manage the university were presented, as well as lecture halls, library, sports places, and accommodation. At the end of the meeting, the door was opened for discussion, and some inquiries were raised and submitted to be answered.
