A Symposium Entitled: "The Way To Distribution.2” was held on Sunday, February 25, 2024
On Sunday, February 25, 2024, a symposium was held at the Faculty of Engineering entitled: “The Way To Distribution.2”, presented by EDUNNERS, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedqi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amira Yasin Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The symposium was organized by Mr. Ahmed Abu Al-Khair, Director of Student Welfare, and the STARKS MU team in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering Student Union and the Students for Egypt Family.
Lecturers: Eng. Muhammad Al-Faramawy, Eng. Muhammad Mustafa, and Eng. Ahmed Maher.
Topics discussed: providing a general idea about the nature of work in electricity companies: whether production companies, electricity transmission companies, or distribution companies, a brief introduction of job opportunities for electrical engineers in the construction sector, the most important advantages of working in the construction sector, and challenges facing electrical engineers in it based on their different jobs and how to overcome them, finally the nature of different engineering careers was clarified, as well as the obstacles they face and how to work to solve them. At the end of the symposium, Professor Dr. Amira Yassin thanked the symposium lecturers and everyone who contributed to organizing it. The students were urged to attend such useful seminars and workshops, as well as the need to pay attention to external training to bridge the gap between academic study and the labor market.
