A Report on the leading Scientific Competition “Technology Clash”

 Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Masoud, interim dean of the faculty and the leadership of both Professor Dr. Sahar Sedqi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Amira Yasin Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a pioneer scientific competition was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) and the Mechatronics Engineering Program (MTE), on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs attended the event. The competition was held at the Faculty of Engineering - Mansoura University under the title “Technology Clash”, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abeer Tawakkol, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program and Director of the Technological Innovations Unit, Innovators Support Fund at Mansoura University, with the participation of Professor Dr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of the Mechatronics Program and a number of distinguished faculty members. The competition’s main aim is to enhance interaction and scientific exchange between the faculty’s departments and programs, build strong scientific bridges and integrate them in the field of engineering work in the future. The competition was characterized by the active participation of a large number of students, the atmosphere was full of enthusiasm and optimism. Thus, the competition was able to enhance the competitive spirit among students and encourage them to innovate and create in various fields of engineering. Such events are certain to contribute to motivating students to achieve success and excellence in their academic and professional fields. Finally, the first three places were given awards.
