Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Masoud Al-Badawi, Interim Dean of the Faculty, and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and supervision of Dr. Mustafa Al-Bahloul, Director of Scientific Research Support Unit, today, Monday 25/12/2023, at 10:30 am, oral interviews were held for staff members applying for the internal funded project, in Al-Rowad Hall, administrative building, with the aim of enriching scientific research and improving opportunities for obtaining funded research projects. It is one of the activities of the Scientific Research Support Office at the Faculty of Engineering.
The arbitration was conducted by a committee composed of:
⁃ Prof. Dr. Tamer Abu Al-Saad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research. (Chairman of the Committee)
⁃ Prof. Dr. Abed Mohamed Nasr, Department of Mathematics and Engineering Physics. (Member)
⁃ Prof. Dr. Osama Badie Abu Al-Atta, Department of Production Engineering and Mechanical Design. (Member)

Applicants presented their projects that aim to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030, the most important of which are: how to confront the problems of water and air pollution, renewable and clean energy, canal lining, water quality, smart cities, and the use of artificial intelligence in anticipating effective solutions to energy problems.
The interviews witnessed diversity and modernity in the ideas presented.
The committee members praised the outstanding level of the faculty members applying for the project.
