The Faculty Council No. (583) was held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at exactly ten o’clock in the morning in Prof. Dr. Rashad El Badrawy Conference Hall, where the council was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of faculty vice deans, heads of scientific departments, program directors and representatives of some institutions of the external community.
The session was opened by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the Faculty, where His Excellency started the meeting by welcoming all the attendees;
- Congratulated the faculty members who were promoted, and who were appointed heads of scientific departments.
- Congratulated Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky for appointing her as the Vice Dean of the faculty for Education and Student Affairs.
- Praised the idea of ​​the entity and symbols initiative, which was proposed by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Salih, which aims to highlight the distinguished entity symbols.
- Briefed the attendees about a number of activities that took place in the faculty, such as: ISO training, the dean’s meeting with members of the supporting staff, visiting Hayah Karima Project in Sherbin, training Huawei Academy students, the opening of Scope Cat, the celebration of Professor Dr. Muhammad Jamal Mahdi, and the activities of the Techno Kids team in both The Nile Club and Gezerit Elward Club as an important community activity.
- Congratulated the faculty members who won prizes on Science Day.
- Encouraged the progress of research projects in addition to obtaining support from the university's research fund.
- Explained that the faculty obtained (6) ISO certificates.
- Presented statistics on the age groups of faculty members.
- Praised the travel of about 27 students to a number of international universities (Louisville, Arizona, Japan).
- Mentioned the donors for the students.
- Talked about the position of quality and the renewal of accreditation of the faculty.
- Stressed the necessity of completing the form for selecting the distinguished Associate Member.
- Presented transparently the financial remuneration received by each of the faculty members assigned to additional work, such as program directors, deputy program directors, program supervisor, director of the quality assurance unit, directors of specific units, vice deans and the dean of the faculty.

At the end of the meeting, His Eminence thanked all the attendees for their good performance and cooperation during the academic year 2022/2023, wishing success to all, then he moved on to discuss the topics on the agenda.
