The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is in the Process of Holding the Sixth Cairo Water Week

With reference to the great success achieved by Cairo Water Week during the previous years, since its inception in 2018, in organizing many and varied activities that ensure the participation of all segments of society.

The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is in the process of holding the Sixth Cairo Water Week from October 29 to November 2, 2023, which will be held this year - as one of the preparatory events on the sidelines of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP28). The conference is held annually under the auspices of President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi - President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This year's theme is "Working on Adaptation in the Water Sector for Sustainability", which is organized in cooperation with national, regional and international partners.

The Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Cairo Water Week are pleased to announce opening calls for submitting research abstracts to be presented in the technical sessions for the week, as well as organizing a number of competitions that aim to encourage innovation and spread awareness in the field of water according to the attached axes of the week.
