Congratulations to the Students who Won the Huawei Global Competition
The Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to AP Dr. Abeer Tawakul, Director of the Huawei Academy in the faculty, for the impressive result in the Huawei Global Competition, where two of the academy students; Amir Muhammad Shtayyeh, Faculty of Engineering, and Christina Maher Halim, Faculty of Computers and Information, won the first place at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the second at the level of the African continent, to secure a seat for Egypt in the global stage of the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023, out of 3 seats available for the African continent, and to be the only Egyptian team qualified in the Cloud Track in the competition that is annually evaluated by Huawei among four Egyptian teams and more than 30 different teams consisting of 90 students from African countries (Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Libya, Cabo Verde).
The student, Yasmine Helal, a student at the Faculty of Engineering, also participated in the competition, among the Egyptian teams that were competing for a place to ensure qualifying Egypt for the global stage in the field of networks.
It is worth noting that the Huawei Global Competition aims to build cadres trained in the latest technologies and according to the needs of the global market.
