He mentioned that the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University is one of two faculties among Egyptian universities that enjoys the presence of the Department of Spinning and Weaving Engineering, therefore, he found that it is necessary for the faculty to contribute to the wheel of the state’s economic growth as the Faculty of Engineering, used to be an effective cog in the development of the wheel of the state’s economy. This has been done after the directions of the state, headed by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, in the restoration of the spinning and weaving industry with the state currently establishing the largest, and greatest factory with advanced capabilities in the Middle East in the field of spinning and weaving industry located in the city of Al-Rubiki, which is scheduled to be completed in August 2022. The Faculty of Engineering, must not stand watching what is happening or wait for the invitation to participate in the work and production, but it must volunteer to work forward and positively participate in this field because of the scientific experience we have represented in great professors, the readiness of laboratories and students who are trained in the field as an integral part of the academic study. This is what we have already done, and therefore I must thank Professor Dr. Hamdan Abu Taleb, professor of spinning and textiles industry in the faculty and his teamwork involved in reviving the textile unit namely: Eng.
