Mansoura University was awarded two prizes from the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions and innovations in Switzerland

Prof. Mohamed El-Kenawy , President of Mansoura University honored Dr. Mohamed Awad , Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Winner of the silver medal for his invention of a solar powered mobile device to extract water from the air using a moisture-absorbing solution.

He, also honored the student\ Ahmed El-Gendy, the winner of the bronze medal for his invention of the Integrated internal combustion engine.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Azza Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Amr Gabr, manager of TICO and Prof. Ahmed Fekry, manager of the International Grants Office.
It is worth mentioning that Mansoura University has won the silver and bronze medal at the Geneva International Innovation Fair in Switzerland where it participated with two invention, the first invention by a member of faculty staff and the second by a student of the faculty
The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology offers annual opportunities for Egyptian inventors to participate and interact at the Geneva International Innovation Fair,
Prof. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, honored the participating team who represented Egypt in the exhibition for their performance. According to the official result received from the exhibition management which was announced by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Mansoura University won two prizes.
TICO has contributed in Supporting innovators and registering their patents.
