A student team invents a multitask robot
Break In Point achieved the 7th position in the UGVC robots competition organized by the military engineering college. This was among 18 different teams from different Egyptian universities.
The team designed a robot that works on solar sells. It is able to move on bumpy rugged terrain. It can do maintenance to different machinery and it can be controlled through cameras from a 1km away. The robot has an arm capable of doing movements similar to the human hand. This was under the sponsorship and support of Prof Mohamed Elsaeed and Prof. Hesham Arafat.
