The Scientific Conference of the Architectural Engineering Department, March, 2015
Introduction:
The Architectural Engineering Department held the periodic scientific conference to discuss and present the most important scientific, educational issues and topics that were carried out by individuals from within the department or related to the department with the participation of faculty members, the supporting staff, researchers and students.
Objectives:
The conference aims to:
⁃ Identify the most up -to- date topics related to scientific research and new architectural topics.
⁃ Present and discuss scientific research carried out by members of the department in the recent period.
⁃ Link the educational and research process with the latest architectural developments in the world.
⁃ Student participation, whether undergraduate or postgraduate must be related to the latest developments and new architectural projects.

Events:
The periodic conference of the Department of Architectural Engineering was held in March, 2015 at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, in Al-Saeed Ashour Hall, with the participation of faculty members, the supporting staff and students of the department on 8/3/2015, based on the vision of the faculty and the department to activate the research aspects and discuss the role of the department in research and education.
Findings and Recommendations:
⁃ Activating students participation in different activities and research work.
⁃ Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in architectural fields, especially research.
⁃ Contributing to raising students' awareness of the department's efforts and disseminating the department's directions.
⁃ Holding the conference periodically every month.
⁃ Coming up with proposals for new research directions and upcoming directions in a way that benefits the department and students.
