Report on the “Asia to Japan” Seminar
A seminar titled “Asia to Japan” was held on Wednesday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Hall of Prof. Dr. Rashad El-Badrawy, organized by the Faculty of Engineering to support global employment opportunities for students and graduates. The event aimed to introduce the mechanisms and opportunities for working in Japan through the company Asia to Japan. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Amira Yassin Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, who emphasized the importance of such events in broadening students’ professional horizons and connecting them directly to global markets, especially given Egypt’s national emphasis on supporting Egyptian talents abroad. A large number of students and graduates participated.
The seminar featured an introductory lecture by the Japanese company’s CEO, covering the following points:
• The company’s role in attracting top graduates and linking them to the Japanese job market.
• The vital functions of the company in providing professional recruitment software and organizing free awareness seminars for students and graduates interested in working in Japan.
• Explanation of the company’s comprehensive programs including recruitment, professional training, and social support for expatriates.
• The company’s plan to establish a community center in Tokyo to assist foreign graduates in integrating into Japanese society.
The seminar witnessed significant student engagement, with active interaction and clear interest in the future job opportunities offered by the company. Several questions were raised regarding application procedures and eligibility criteria.
The event concluded with thanks directed to the company and the speaker for enriching the discussion, with a commitment to continue cooperation and hold similar future meetings.
