Faculty of Engineering Secures ANSYS License

The Faculty of Engineering has obtained a perpetual license for the world-leading ANSYS software, advancing its commitment to scientific research and digital infrastructure. ANSYS excels in advanced modeling and simulation for engineering systems across disciplines.
This was achieved through a funded project under the Egyptian-British cooperation program (No. 51691), supported by STDF and the British Council, underscoring international collaboration's role in research.
Dr. Ahmed Hussein Abdel Rahman, lecturer in Structural Engineering, led the effort to secure and activate the license, including key packages like ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Fluent for advanced structural, mechanical, and fluid dynamics analyses.
This supports academic integrity with licensed tools, boosting research quality and competitiveness regionally and globally.
