Gentlemen, deans of engineering faculties in government universities

I am pleased and honored to extend my sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of the start of the new academic year. Wish you success in your work and in developing and modernizing engineering education in Egypt. Given the importance of electronic systems in learning and assessment in light of the Corona Pandemic, Therefore, I have the honor to report that the Engineering Studies Sector Committee, in its session No. {16} held on October 5, 2021, recommended the following:

A recommendation to the deans of engineering faculties at government universities affiliated to the Engineering Studies Sector Committee to review the e-learning management platform designed through the project:
(Innovative Lifelong e-Learning for Professional Engineers.), funded by the European Union Program for the Development of Education (ERASMUS +) in partnership with Ain Shams University, the National Nile University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and in cooperation with many European universities in the manufacture of a number of electronic courses in the field of engineering (civil - electrical - mechanical) in addition to a number of other electronic courses in the fields of (sustainable development - engineering skills - entrepreneurship), with the aim of developing the skills of graduates of engineering faculties, through the website:

The faculties should submit a report on the extent to which the electronic platform is utilized and the extent to which students benefit from the use of the available electronic courses, provided that the topic will be discussed in the next meeting if a response is received from the faculties.
