Training Workshop on “Implementing the Requirements of ISO 9001 International Quality Management Standard”

The Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University organized on Monday, November 17, a training workshop entitled “Implementing the Requirements of ISO 9001 International Quality Management Standard.” The workshop targeted the faculty’s special units such as the Center for Engineering Studies, Consulting, and Research, the Technical, Laboratory, and Scientific Services Center, and was attended by unit directors and administrative staff members.

The workshop, held at Al-Ruwad Hall, aimed to enhance the efficiency of employees in the special units and to strengthen their ability to implement a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This contributes to improving institutional performance and raising the quality level of the services provided.

The sessions included a detailed explanation of quality management principles, documentation and record requirements, service delivery procedures, and methods for assessing risks and opportunities, as well as clarifying mechanisms for continuous improvement within the units.

Organizing this workshop reflects the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to promoting a culture of quality and good governance within its special units, recognizing the significant role that the ISO 9001 standard plays in improving service quality and enhancing the confidence of both internal and external stakeholders through the adoption of a globally recognized management system.

This workshop is part of a series of activities aimed at preparing the units for accreditation and applying best quality practices in alignment with the Faculty’s vision to advance institutional performance and improve the quality of educational, research, and community services.
