In line with the objectives of the “New Start for Quality Education” initiative launched by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education under the auspices of the Prime Minister—marking a significant step toward achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 for education—a training workshop was held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Prof. El-Said Ashour Hall for students of specific programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University.

The event was conducted under the supervision and patronage of Prof. Sherif Massoud El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, and organized by AP. Dr. Reham Mohsen Ezz El-Din, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, in collaboration with Dr. Rehab Abdel-Khaleq Abdel-Khaleq, Deputy Director of the Unit.

The workshop was delivered by a team of Mansoura Engineering students who had received certificates from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education following official training provided by the Authority. This initiative comes as part of a national plan to train thousands of students across more than fifty Egyptian universities, fostering greater awareness of quality assurance culture among youth.

The sessions focused on empowering students to meet future labor market needs by integrating principles of quality into their academic and professional practices.

At the closing session, Prof. El-Badawy honored the students who contributed to training their peers in specific programs, under the supervision of AP. Dr. Reham Mohsen Ezz El-Din.

Concluding the event, AP. Dr. Reham Mohsen Ezz El-Din emphasized the continuation of such activities in cooperation between Mansoura Engineering students and the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit, highlighting their vital role in driving positive change and strengthening the culture of quality across the college community.
