Mansoura Engineering Team Wins Third Place in Engineering Leaders Competition after competing with 41 teams in the first phase from various engineering faculties in Egyptian universities to achieve sustainability on Block 1 in the Art Life Project in New Giza.

 In the context of the efforts of international organizations and companies to improve the water desalination and reuse sector, the Saudi company TSG-EXICON, the German company Expotec International GmbH, the BVMW representative office in Egypt, and the Egyptian Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) announced the establishment of an exceptional pioneering partnership that contributes to improving the water desalination and reuse sector.

This partnership comes within the framework of organizing the 13th Regional Conference on Desalination and Water Reuse, which is one of the initiatives of the Arab Desalination Association ARWADEX. The Research Support Unit, Faculty of Engineering announces an introductory meeting on how to apply for funding research grants for master's and doctoral students at the university by Research Fund account, academic year, 2024/2025. Prof. Dr. Sherif Masoud El-Badawy, interim dean of the faculty, conducted an inspection tour, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amira Yassin Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nasser El-Badawihy, Director General of the Faculty and Major General Ashraf El-Khelawy, Director of faculty Administrative Security. They inspected auditoriums and laboratories to ensure full readiness, and to ensure that the preparation of the study schedules was carried out with perfection. Student activities were also inspected. Prof. El- Badawy listened to new students stressing that the faculty administration is always keen to provide full support for the advancement of the educational process within all departments of the faculty and to harness all capabilities to serve students and to create the appropriate atmosphere to help them excel and succeed.

It is worth noting that the Engineers Syndicate's sponsorship of the Egypt International Summit for Electric Mobility comes within the framework of the Engineers Syndicate's primary role, especially since this summit aims to provide a scientific and practical prescription for developing the electric car industry and achieving cybersecurity in the field of communications. The summit will also witness a rally for graduation projects for students of engineering faculties specializing in this field. The distinguished ones among them and those with creative ideas in the fields of electric cars and cybersecurity will be honored, noting that Egypt has a great wealth of distinguished young engineers, who are Egypt's real wealth.

The conference will discuss programming systems for electric cars, cybersecurity systems, and securing network systems. Senior Egyptian university professors and a number of researchers will lecture in it.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Masoud El-Badawy, Interim Dean of the Faculty, congratulates "Mansoura Robotics" team for winning second place in the local qualifiers for the largest green and sustainable projects competitions in the world, thus representing the Arab Republic of Egypt in the qualifiers at the level of the continents of Asia and Africa, with the VERTECHX project, which is a smart vertical greenhouse that aims to increase the productivity of agricultural lands, especially those specialized in exporting their products to the European Union, in addition to reducing their consumption of chemicals, which improves the quality of agricultural production.

This was done under the supervision of Assoc. Prof.Mahmoud Mohamed Saafan, Department of Computer Engineering and Control Systems, and with the participation of students from various departments in the faculty, namely: Mohamed Khaled Anis, Mahmoud Ibrahim Abdel Aziz, Abdel Rahman Ahmed Shafik, Yahya Mohamed Al-Ajami, Youssef Ahmed Al-Ghammaz, Muhand Tawfiq, Mohamed Rizk, Omar Soleiman, Ziad Osama, Youssef Taher, Mohamed Al-Janaini, Karim Ashraf.
