A Public Awareness Seminar Entitled “Excessive Water Consumption” was held as part of the “Correct Your Misconceptions” Initiative.
Within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University and the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf, a public awareness seminar entitled “Excessive Water Consumption” was organized under the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative.
The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Ahmed Sharaf El-Din, Imam and preacher of Al-Nasr Mosque, on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, in El-Saeed Ashour Hall, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hassan Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Ahmed Abou El-Khair, Director of the Students’ Care Department, and a group of students of the faculty.
The seminar addressed the importance of rationalizing water consumption as a civilized behavior and a religious value, and discussed the role of youth in spreading awareness and achieving sustainability within the community.
This seminar comes within a series of joint activities aimed at correcting misconceptions and enhancing students’ religious and social awareness.
