Students at Mansoura faculty of engineering, represents Egypt at the competition of designing the mechanical submarines at America

                                      

 

 

A student team CAETUS at faculty of engineering –MANSOURA UNIVERSITY –won the first place at the final qualifying in the global competition for designing the mechanical submarines ,that was held at the Arabic academy for science and technology ,within it all the governmental and special faculties of engineering, the Arabic academy and the American university from 20 to 22 April 2012 under the supervise of the international maritime organization(IMO) for researches .CAETUS team will represent Egypt at the global competition for designing the mechanical submarines ,which will be hold at Orlando city-USA from 20/26 June 2012 .

The team includes 5 students at the 4th year at computer engineering dept. and they are :Blal Shehata ,Asmaa Raslan ,Asmaa Alnagar ,Aml Kamal ,Amera Mgdy ,Sameh Galal Mostafa at the 4th year dept. of communication and AmroAlolwy the 3rd year at production engineering dept. and the team team was under the supervise of DR.Mohammed Sherief Alkasas ,the professor at computer engineering dept.,DR.Mohammed faney the professor at production engineering dept. And DR.Mohammed abdalazeem ,the professor at communication dept .DR.Mohammed sherief Alkassa, the professor at communication engineering dept. and one of the supervisors on the project ,mentioned that the team achieved a great achievement and exceed 36 team and won the first place due to the superiority of the type of the diving robots , that can used in the different manufactures that are liked with sea and oceans like the industry of petrol ,gas, sea transporting, welding works and ocean engineering ;this will contribute greatly to transfer new technological experts and developing the industry and opening new labors for youth .
