This honor is an initiative that is the first of its kind in the history of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, as a gesture of loyalty and a message of thanks, gratitude and encouragement for future generations.
Within the framework of the keenness of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, to cooperate, participate, integrate and exchange experiences, whether with the university institutions or the institutions of the external community, in order to achieve the public interest. He signed a cooperation protocol with the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University, on Monday, February 1, 2021 in his office.
On Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, and a number of experts from the international company, Huawei, participated in holding a meeting of academic and research excellence inside the faculty conference hall, to activate the cooperation protocol between the faculty and Huawei company.
This was done in the presence of a large number of students and beneficiaries of this meeting. The event was coordinated by Dr. Abeer Tawakkol Al-Namki, conference’s faculty representative Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communications and the representative of the Faculty of Engineering in the conference.
Prof. Abdel Azim welcomed everyone; the attendees, Huawei experts and students. He affirmed his full support for all student, he also assured that The Faculty of Engineering is a great entity where he seeks to enrich the academic level as well as the practical and applied levels, this is implemented by communicating major international companies such as: Huawei.
Then, the representative of Huawei Company introduced the nature of the company’s activity, the volume of its transactions, the arrangement of its impact on the global economy, and its technical arrangement among international companies in its specialization.
Then, he explained the aim of Huawei Competition, where he said that it is a competition presented by Huawei ICT Academy, and that , it is a global competition, taking place in communications and technology. It aims at obtaining the best talents in these fields and then take care, nurture and develop them, it is presented to university students in the field of communications and information technology.

He also talked about the awards presented, such as : the opportunity to be appointed in Huawei Egypt, the opportunity to obtain a summer internship in Huawei Egypt, the opportunity to represent Egypt in the global competition and the opportunity to be trained at the Huawei Main Innovation Center in China.
The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Mansoura University, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, announces holding a competition for Mansoura University students, especially students of (engineering, fine arts, specific education) faculties, in order to choose the best (3) proposals in:
⁃ Preparing a design for a unified paint for homes in villages affiliated with the "Haya Karima" initiative in Dakahlia Governorate.
⁃ Choosing the suitable building materials for the environment.
⁃ Choosing the appropriate color codes for the nature of the place.
The first, second and third winners of each category will receive financial prizes as follows:
•First place: 1000 pounds
•Second place: 700 pounds
•Third place: 500 pounds

The Second Annual Conference of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University. Celebrating the Harvest of Achievements, and the development of laboratories. The Government Excellence Conference with its distinction over competition among 468 distinguished faculties at the level of the country. It’s on confronting Corona Virus, supporting national projects, supporting engineering Projects for the Education Sectors and Mansoura University Hospitals. A conference honoring the distinguished faculty, supporting staff and members of the administrative staff.
The annual conference is an embodiment to the great achievements that have been made since Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim took over the Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering. Achievements that resulted from effort and brain storming Achievements that are motivated by the desire to continue excellence and push forward for what is good for the benefit of students, the faculty, the university, and our great country Egypt.
In order to activate this great event, the activities of the conference were launched today, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in the conference hall of the faculty, where the celebration ceremony began, during which honors were awarded by Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, dean of the faculty, prof. Dr. Mohamed Al Mahdy, vice dean for students affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sahar Sidky, vice dean for community service and environmental development.

A recommendation to the deans of engineering faculties at government universities affiliated to the Engineering Studies Sector Committee to review the e-learning management platform designed through the project:
(Innovative Lifelong e-Learning for Professional Engineers.), funded by the European Union Program for the Development of Education (ERASMUS +) in partnership with Ain Shams University, the National Nile University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and in cooperation with many European universities in the manufacture of a number of electronic courses in the field of engineering (civil - electrical - mechanical) in addition to a number of other electronic courses in the fields of (sustainable development - engineering skills - entrepreneurship), with the aim of developing the skills of graduates of engineering faculties, through the website:

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering is always eager to support and follow up the various departments of the faculty to have a comprehensive overview of what they need. He attended and participated in the annual conference of the Department of Public Works Engineering, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Muharram Fouad, the head of the department, the faculty members and the assistant staff in the department.
Important topics about science and latest technologies have been discussed. Prof. Abdel Azim stressed the importance of this field, especially in the implementation of national projects and sustainable development. The meeting ended with taking several recommendations that would further advance the department and provide a great service to the outside community worthy of the name of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University.
