In the framework of the Faculty of Engineering – Mansoura University's keenness to strengthen cooperation with leading global companies in information and communication technologies, training, and entrepreneurship, the faculty hosted on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, a delegation from the global Huawei company to activate joint cooperation beneficial to faculty members, assistants, and students.

The Huawei delegation was received by:

- Prof. Dr. Sahar Sedky – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
- Prof. Dr. Amira Yassin Heikal – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
- Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saafan – Director of Intelaq Company at the university

During the meeting, cooperation frameworks were discussed in areas of specialized training and professional programs provided by Huawei, which are considered among the best globally accredited programs in the fields of technology and communications. Both sides also discussed mechanisms to provide these programs to students and faculty members to enhance their skills and prepare them for the evolving technological job market.

Following the official meeting, the delegation moved to Prof. Dr. Magdy Abu Rayan’s hall, where a training day was launched by a team from Huawei, featuring introductory lectures and presentations on the latest smart technologies and solutions in networks, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and information security. The session witnessed high attendance and positive interaction from students, who expressed appreciation for the valuable information and the excellent teaching style, contributing to developing their technical skills and qualifying them for competition in the labor market.

The faculty confirms its continuous commitment to opening new horizons for cooperation with major global entities, achieving its vision of preparing distinguished graduates capable of competing locally, regionally, and globally in engineering and technological fields.
