Boosting Success for International Engineering Students
The Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University held an expanded meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in Prof. Dr. Saeed Ashour Meeting Hall. It brought together undergraduate and postgraduate international students to address their academic and living needs.
Attendees included Dean Prof. Sherif Massoud El-Badawy; Vice Deans Prof. Ibrahim ElKalla (Graduate Studies and Research) and Prof. Mohamed Hassan Mansour (Education and Student Affairs); Prof. Sahar Sidky (Specific Programs Coordinator); Dr. Aya Abu El-Naga (International Students Director, who organized the event); and directors Assoc. Prof. Asmaa El-Awady,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Islam Ismail,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atta Allah El-Shenawi, and Mr. Ayman Sabri.
The Dean welcomed students, pledged to ease procedures and overcome obstacles per regulations, and highlighted recent support amid challenges and rising international enrollment. He noted cultural diversity's value to education and announced new programs for bachelor's and postgraduate levels to meet job market demands.
The meeting ended with open dialogue, where students shared views and suggestions in a positive, interactive setting, underscoring the faculty's commitment to their integration.
