A Cooperation Protocol Signed with the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate

As part of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University's support for engineering training, skill development for its students, and linking academic education with labor market requirements, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Faculty of Engineering – Mansoura University and the  Egyptian Engineers Syndicate.
On behalf of the faculty, the protocol was signed by Prof. Sherif El-Badawy – the Dean of the Faculty, while the syndicate was represented by Engineer Tariq Al-Nabrawy – Head of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate. The signing took place in the presence of:
- Eng. Mahmoud Arafat – Secretary General of the Syndicate,
- Prof. Amira Yassin Heikal – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
- Eng. Osama Hassan Moawad – Syndicate Council Member and Training Committee Secretary.
The protocol aims to enhance joint cooperation between the Faculty and the Syndicate in the fields of training and professional qualification, contributing to improving the skills and competencies of students and recent graduates, preparing them for the evolving engineering labor market.
In his speech, Eng. Tariq Al-Nabrawy praised the academic standing of the Faculty of Engineering – Mansoura University, emphasizing the syndicate’s strong commitment to training young engineers due to its tangible impact in preparing distinguished engineering cadres to meet local and regional market needs.
For his part, Eng. Mahmoud Arafat noted that the faculty is one of the most important educational institutions in engineering across the country, highlighting the syndicate's keenness on ongoing cooperation with major faculties to strengthen the training and qualification system.
Prof. Sherif El-Badawy expressed his pride in signing this protocol with the Engineers Syndicate, affirming the faculty’s full readiness to support joint cooperation and promote the syndicate’s services among undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty members.
Prof. Amira Yassin Heikal expressed her confidence that this cooperation will yield tangible positive results, thanking the Engineers Syndicate for its efforts in supporting students and newly graduated engineers.
Likewise, Eng. Osama Hassan Moawad praised the Syndicate Council’s support for the Training Committee, stressing the importance of cooperation with the faculty to implement training programs and workshops that help develop the capabilities of students and engineers.
The protocol covers several areas of cooperation, including but not limited to:
- Supporting practical and applied training for students and linking it with labor market needs.
- Organizing specialized workshops and training programs.
- Providing opportunities for interaction with industry sectors through visits and conferences.
- Supporting graduation projects through joint academic and consulting supervision.
- Exchanging expertise and participating in various engineering events.
This protocol reflects the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University’s commitment to providing the best training opportunities for its students and strengthening partnerships with professional and syndicate bodies to serve the educational process and elevate graduate standards.
