A Report on the Faculty Council Meeting No. (592)
The Faculty Council No. (592) was held on Sunday, May 17, 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning in the Faculty Council meeting room, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Sherif Masoud El-Badawy, interim dean of the faculty, in the presence of the faculty vice deans, heads of scientific departments, and directors of specific programs.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Masoud El-Badawy, opened the session by congratulating all attendees on the occasion of the renewal of the institutional accreditation of the faculty, and the accreditation of the Department of Architecture from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. He also congratulated the attendees on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day, Labor Day, and Easter Day.
- He presented the lists of faculty members who have been chosen as referees to examine scientific papers required to fill the positions of professors and associate professors.
- He congratulated faculty members and scientific departments who won the awards.
- He presented the most important events and activities of the Service Center that took place during April 2024.
-He briefed the attendees about the most important seminars and workshops, the practical demonstration on how to use fire extinguishers, and the medical awareness campaigns that took place during April 2024, in cooperation with the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector.
- He acquainted the attendees with the most important student activities that took place in the recent period, such as the visit of a delegation from the Production Engineering Department to the Military 300 Factory for Specialized Industries, and the opening of the student exhibition in the Specific Programs Building.
- He stated that Mansoura University was ranked among the top 4.2% globally and third locally in the CWUR classification, and that Mansoura University also obtained first place in the Hult Prize International Competition nationwide.
At the end of the presentation of the most important works and activities that took place, Prof. El- Badawy affirmed that the faculty strongly supports everyone who works seriously within the framework of achieving its interest. Then he moved on to discuss the topics on the agenda with members of the esteemed Faculty Council.
