Professor Dr. Sherif Al-Badawi, interim dean of the faculty received a delegation from Al Ain University, Iraq
on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, to discuss ways of cooperation in scientific research and the establishment of dual study programs in the 2+2 system, where the student studies for (2) academic years in one of the two universities and the other (2) at the second university so that the student obtains a dual degree from both universities.

Both parties discussed determining the mechanism for achieving benefit from their joint scientific research, Professor Dr. Sherif El-Badawi mentioned that the role of research always acts as a fundamental axis in advancing the process of comprehensive and sustainable development, stressing the importance of developing interconnected relations in scientific research among universities. Prof. Sherif indicated that study programs and scientific research must be directed to meet the requirements of the labor market and challenges as well as contributing to maximizing production, economics, and transforming scientific research into a real product that has a strong economic impact on our countries.
At the end of the meeting, the Iraqi delegation expressed its great happiness at the warm reception, the momentum and enrichment of the welcome, and the full readiness to resume and activate the stages of cooperation.
