Prof. Sherif Massoud El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty, along with the Vice Deans and all Faculty of Engineering staff, extend their sincerest congratulations and appreciation to the team at the Mechanical Testing Lab and the Materials Properties and Strength Lab on achieving international accreditation from the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC). This follows the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017, marking another achievement in the Faculty's distinguished record. It brings the total number of accredited labs to four: (Roads and Airports Engineering Lab – Soil Mechanics and Foundations Lab – Mechanical Testing Lab – and Materials Properties and Strength Lab).

This accreditation serves as official confirmation of the labs' high performance, accurate test results, and full commitment to the highest international standards of quality, technical expertise, and management practices. It reflects the labs' professionalism and technical readiness. The Faculty has a plan in place to accredit its service labs, targeting four more by the end of this year, for a total of eight accredited labs.

This success stems from ongoing efforts and organized institutional work that combines scientific excellence with technical discipline. It strengthens the labs' role in supporting education, research, community service, and the industrial sector, helping solidify the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University's position among prestigious local and international academic and research institutions.
