About the centre

The high education ministry adopted the implement of the plan which the conference about the development of university education suggested 2000.This is done through six projects all over universities in Egypt. One of them is Quality Assurance and performance evaluation. Through this project the national committee of quality assurance implements all projects in the Egyptian universities.

This committee was formed by ministry of high education and scientific research. It makes great efforts to suggest an Egyptian system for quality assurance in high education. This is according to the international criteria in the aim of exchanging admission between it and regional and international systems. This system is put in discussion between high education academic institutions and those who benefits from high education service in Egypt. It seeks to achieve its strategic aim which is the preparation of high education institutions for accreditation.
