Applications are now open for the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science 2025 program
Applications are now open for the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science 2025 program, based on the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The program aims to enhance the participation of young female researchers in various fields of science within Egypt. It honors and supports outstanding female scientists in the life sciences (such as biology, chemistry, biophysics, genetics, physiology, neuroscience, biotechnology, ecology, and behavioral sciences), as well as the physical sciences (such as physics, chemistry, petroleum engineering, mathematics, engineering sciences, information sciences, and earth sciences).
Three outstanding Egyptian female researchers are honored annually in recognition of the quality of their research and to encourage them to continue their careers in science.
The program includes research grants as follows:
🔹 Two postdoctoral fellowships, each worth €10,000 Euros.
🔹 A scholarship for a female doctoral student worth €6,000.
Deadline for applications: July 1, 2025.
