State awards for intellectual production and encouraging sciences and social sciences, arts and literature :

Item1:Giving a prize of 200,000LEand a gold metal called Mubarak prize in all of literature, artistic and social sciences fields' .and two prizes for the advanced technological sciences ,and who is responsible for nominating this prize the applied rules in this law according to the procedures and rules of appreciation prize ,called 'state prizes for the intellectual production' and 14 prizes  called 'state's prizes for superiority' and 72 encouraging prizes called state prizes for encouraging sciences and the advanced technological sciences and arts and social sciences .

Item2:Annualgifts for the superiors in intellectual production, only given to the Egyptians and that and that for honoring them. And these prizes are:- five prizes for sciences

             -Five prizes for advanced technological sciences  

Item3:The value of every prize is 100,000LEand a gold medal and it's not allowed to be given to someone more than one time

Item4:The condition of people who are given the prizes is to have works or researches had been published before and this production should has an excellent scientific or artistic value and it should show an accurate research and innovation to add to the sciences and arts a useful thing for the state and the humanity.

Item 5:The scientific organization that works in 'sciences , social sciences , arts or fine arts 'give every year the special supreme council names of people who are supposed being nominated to win the appreciation prize, with giving the reasons of nominations.

Item 6:The specialized supreme council appoints every year a committee to check the nominations, and one of its members should be awarded the appreciation prize before, andthis committee gives the checkout results to the council in a specified time that is the end of March every year.

Item6 repeated (1) the excellent Egyptians in intellectual productions, innovation and the advanced technological sciences are rewarded these prizes:-                                                                                                

-7 prizes for sciences and the advanced technological sciences, the value of every prize is 50,000 LE and a silver medal and it's not allowed for someone more than one time.

Item6 repeated (2) required from the winner that:-

-practicing for 15 years research, and its application or intellectual production or innovation in the scientific fields of arts, literature or social sciences.

- his production of researches and works had been published before and this product should has an excellent and artistic value.

Item 6 repeated (3) the specialized supreme council announces every year about the state prizes for superiority before 1^st October and who wants to win the prize should go to the supreme council in 3 months from the announcement time.

Item 6 repeated (4) the provided committees in item 6 should check the nominations and the demands of the state prize and assure its application to the announced conditions and its results are given to the supreme council in a specified time that its end is at the end of march every year.

Item 7:Only the Egyptians are given every year these prizes for their most excellent works and these prizes are: 32 prizes for science -8 prizes for the advanced technological sciences.

Item 8:The value of every encouraging prize is 20,000 LEand it's not allowed to be given to someone more than one time before 5 years and also not allowed to more than twice times in a same branch.

Item 9:The specialized council announces before 1^st October about the fields that the prizes will be given in and who wants to  win some of these prizes should give the specified council his works in three months from the announcement time .

Item 10:The specialized supreme council appoints committees every year to check the exposed works and these committees give its results to the council.

Item 11:It's required at the presented product to win the encouraging prizes these conditions:  -to have a scientific or artistic value, that shows the accuracy of the searches and to add to the sciences or the arts a new useful thing.

-had been published or executed before

-not to be awarded before on scientific degree or had been awarded another prize before

Item 12:The specialized supreme council 'the supreme council for culture and technology and scientific research academy ' give the state awards that are mentioned in this law according to the provided rules

Item 12 repeated: all the mentioned prizes are exempted from taxes.

Item 13: The law number 338 in 1953 is eliminated 

Item 14:This law should be published in the official newspaper and it should be used immediately from the next day.

The university's awards :

The aim of the award:

-Honoring the scientists at Mansoura university in recognition of the university for their role in science and society's service and what they enriched in the learning process from researches, and experiences that was reflected in their role in establishing a scientific distinguish school that led to the graduation of generations of learners and research youth ,this is an estimate sign from the university to her sons

Item 1: Forming seven awards that are given annually in these sciences

The award of the medical science

Item 2: The value of award 4000LE and an appreciation certificate for those who get in and its permitted to divide this award between more than one member, also its not permitted to divide this award between more than one member also its not permitted to be awarded for the same professor more than one time
The conditions of percolation
The candidate should be at the degree of ''professor' 'worker or free and worked for ten years at least at the degree of professor at Mansoura university and the last five years before percolation should be spent continuously at Mansoura university and this without deducing the periods that were spent in a scientific mission or a scientific visit or training course or scientific conference
, from the period of the five years and their total shouldn’t be more than one year
The faculty council nominate three professors at most from those who have the conditions according to the nominations of the department council , the nomination should be according to the attached form , also the council suggests eight specialized professors to check out the scientific production of each candidate provided to be members of the standing committees that are specialized in the same domain of the candidate for the award and they all should be elder that the candidate ;with sending what shows that the gentlemen arbitrators of the standing committee members . if the number of the arbitrators at the candidate's field is less than eight ,it's possible to use professors outside the committee and their seniority in the job of professor shouldn’t be less than five years and who participated in the scientific committee's membership before are preferred . The faculty sends 4 copies of the job date and a list of scientific production that includes the published researches and scientific massages that was supervised and was permitted and the scientific works of his sovereignty and the research projects that he participate in with sending 4 copies of them if possible for each candidate .
The scientific production of the gentlemen candidates is examined by the percolation of the council of the graduate studies and researches of five from the arbitrators, a decision from MR. Prof. DR. /The university's leader to make tripartite committee, two of them at least outside university and its funded for each arbitrator of the member of the tripartite committee and its determined by MR. Prof .DR. The university's leader a reward for their assessment of every candidate
The way of selecting the award's winners
-Forming a committee to select the winners annually under the leadership of prof. DR/ the university's leader and the membership of the deputies of the university's leader,and then making decision by P.DR. The university's leader to form a tripartite committee consists of the suggested names, two of them at least outside the university and it's funded for every gentlemen arbitrator, the members of the tripartite committee an award that is determined by P.DR. The university's leader for their assessment to every candidate.

Item 3:Its required in who nominates for the scientific advance award that he had worked for five years before the percolation and already works as a professor at Mansoura university and this without deducing the periods that he spent in a scientific task or scientific visit or a training course or a scientific conference from the period of the five years in and its required not to be more than one year.

Item4: The total of the production must be an innovation and has a special scientific value and had been published after gaining the degree of professor.

Item5 :the faculty's council nominates three professors at most who have the conditions according to the percolation of the department's council , also the faculty's council nominates eight specialized professors to check out the scientific production of every candidate but, they all should be elder than the candidate with sending what proves that they are members at the standing scientific committee .
If the number of the arbitrators in the field of the candidate is less than eight,it's possible to use a professor outside the committee but their seniority as professors shouldn’t be less than five years and its preferred who participate in the standing scientific committee before.

Item 6:
Who evaluate the scientific production for the candidates, three specialized professors , are chosen by MR.P. DR/The university's leader according to a suggestion from the council of the post graduate and researches and two of them should be outside the university.

Item 7: The faculties send four copies from the total production and the scientific activity and the name of the members of the arbitration committee for every candidate in last November annually.

Item 8: Forming a committee to choose the winners by MR .P.DR/ the university's leader and the deputies of the university's leader to check out the percolation the evaluation of the examining committee with dismissing every candidate who didn’t gain the arbitrators consensus to win the award and the committee should invite the specialized professors to attend its sessions.

Item 9: Awarding the awards annually by decision from the university's council after showing the opinion of the selection committee.

General provisions :

• To achieve the principles of giving a chance for all the members of the teaching staff.
• It's not allowed to nominate for two awards for the same person in the same year.
• Who wined a superior award before, shouldn’t nominate for inferior award.
• Who won an award shouldn’t nominate for it another time.

The encouraging prizes of the university :

Item1: Forming 33encouraging prizes are distributed to the faculties of university as following:-

• Three prizes for each faculty of (medicine –science-agriculture –engineering)
• The value of each prize 1000LE and an appreciation certificate are given to the winner and it's not permitted to be given to those who awarded it before.

Item 2: it's required to win the prize these following conditions:

• The candidate should be one of the professors or the assistant at the university during the percolation to win the award.
• He should be worked as a lecturer for three years at least.
• The scientific production of the candidate should be extracted from masters and PHDs that he supervised or participated in the supervise of it or had been assigned by it an award outside the university.
• The sums of researches are not included in the evaluation and the percolation of three candidates at the same field and awarding the award to more than one member at the same field is not permitted.

Item 3: The university's council determined the branches of science and the specials that the prize for, through the show of the faculty's council in October annually but the percolations should be answered inside the specializes that are approved by the university's council in specified date which its end in last December every year.

Item 4: The arbitrators who assumed the checkout of the scientific production of the candidates, give their reports according to the prepared model to MR.P.DR./the deputy of the head of the university, for post graduates and researches in a specified date which its end in last May every year.

Item 5: Forming a committee under the leadership of the professors who are the deputies of the university's head .the checkout of the nominations and the award of the prize annually by a decision from the university's council according to the show of the checkout committee.

Item 6: Who evaluates the scientific production of the candidates, three specialized professors are chosen by P.DR./the University's leader according to the suggestions of the post graduates council and two of them at least should be outside the university.

Item 7 :The faculty sends 4 copies from the total of the production ,the scientific activity and names of the committee's members that are suggested to every candidate in a specified date ,which its end in last November every year

Item 8: Forming a committee to choose the winners by P.DR./the University's leader and his deputies to check out the nominations after the evaluation of the checkout committee with the dismissing of every candidate didn’t gain the consensus of the arbitrators and the committee should invite the specialized professors to attend its sessions.

General provisions :

• It's not allowed to nominate for two awards for the same person in the same year
• Who won a superior award before, shouldn’t nominate for inferior award

The prizes of the best messages in masters and PHDs :

Item 1: the encouraging prizes for innovation and creativity in scientific researches to the owners of the best PHDs and masters ,are given by the university annually as following :
-Tow prizes for PHDs messages for each faculty of (medicine –science –agriculture –and engineering )and a prize for each other faculty at the university and the value of each prize is 800LEand an appreciation certificate.

Item 2: the studies council determines in October every year ,the branch of sciences and the Subspecialties which the prizes are dedicated in through the show of the faculty's council ,but the nominations should be backed to the university in specified time which its end in last December every year ,but the nominations should be attached with three copies with the nominated messages to gain the prize.

Item3: It's required in the nominated messages to the mentioned prizes the following:-

• The message shouldn't be awarded before.
• The period of gaining the degree shouldn’t be more than three years from the date of the announcement.

Item 4: Who evaluates the message to every candidate, are three specialized professors ,two of them at least outside the university by a decision from MR.P.DR. the deputy of the university leader and they are among eight professors who are nominated by the faculty's council to check out the offered message for the prize, but five of those arbitrators must be outside the university and they shouldn’t had been participated in the membership of the discussing committee or supervised the messages before .its funded for each arbitrator a fund for the check out of every message by a decision from MR.P.DR. The university's leader.

Item 5: it’s not permitted to give the prize more than one time to more than one message in the same field .

Item 6: the assumed arbitrators of examining the offered messages to gain the prize ,should give their reports according to the prepared model for that to MR P.DR. the deputy of the university’s leader for post graduate studies and researches in a specified date ,which its end in last may every year.

Item 7: Awarding the message every year by a decision from the university’s council after a decision from the formed committee which includes the university’s leader and his deputies.
